Linda and I had the unbelievable opportunity to board the Thomas Leighton last Sunday to sell our fleece lids created for the social event of the USS New Hampshire. Not only did we get to meet some very interesting people, a photographer who works on expeditions with the Professor who found the Titanic, but also had an up close view of the USS New Hampshire entering the Piscataqua River. Pepperell Cove never looked as beautiful as we sat just short of Whaleback Light and watched the Commander being brought to the sub by helicopter. We were so thankful to be a part of this historic event!
